Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust acquires digital health company Health Call Solutions.

We’re delighted to share the news that Health Call has been brought into sole ownership of Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

Health Call was founded in 2016 as a collaboration between seven Trusts: Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust, County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust, Gateshead Health NHS Foundation Trust, Newcastle Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, North Tees and Hartlepool Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Our purpose is to share digital health expertise and resources to drive down the cost of health and care provision, whilst improving patient outcomes and staff experience.

It’s been through the collaboration and support of our partners at these Trusts that we now have an award-winning remote monitoring platform, VirtualCare, a cost-cutting Patient Engagement Portal, MyHealthCall PEP, and a patient questionnaire-building tool, FormFinity, that integrates seamlessly with the two. North East and North Cumbria regional Trusts will continue to hold a share in the organisation and we’re extremely grateful to our colleagues in these Trusts for all the invaluable testing, feedback and input they offer to our products.
